How to Get a Temporary MEPCO Connection for Events or Construction!

There are two types of electricity temporary mepco connections: one for residential use and another for industrial use. The step-by-step process for both is explained below.

The temporary electricity connection is valid for six months. If you need an extension, you must submit a written application to WAPDA and pay the required demand notice to extend the connection duration.

How to Apply for a Residential Temporary mepco Connection:

If you want a temporary MEPCO electricity connection for a new house construction, please follow the steps below. If you need a new permanent connection, click here.

New temporary Connection Application Form (Online) step by step guide;

1. Fill the online form – Apply Here
2. Find the Apply button on left side of your PC screen
3. Select your company name – MEPCO
4. Select your subdivision – (e.g., Multan Cantt)
5. Select category type – (e.g., 15KW)
6. Enter your neighbor’s meter reference number
7. Select connection type – temporary, etc.
8. Fill your personal information
9. Notify the number of meters already registered under your name

Required Documents for new meter Application;

To complete your online application, upload the following documents

1. Property Document Copy – Upload Image
2. Attested CNIC Copy of Applicant – Upload Image
3. Attested CNIC Copy of Witness – Upload Image
4. Neighbor’s Electricity Bill Copy – Upload Image
5. Wiring Contractor’s Test Report
6. Next Steps After Form Submission
7. Print all submitted documents and prepare a file.
8. Submit the file to your MEPCO subdivision office.
9. MEPCO will verify your application and conduct a site survey.
10. After survey approval, a demand notice will be issued.
11. Print the demand notice, attach the test report, and submit it to the bank with the required fee.

Next Steps After online Form Submission

3. A MEPCO officer will verify your application and conduct a site survey.
4. After survey approval, a demand notice will be issued.

Temporary electricity connection for industrial area;

If you need a temporary industrial connection, follow this procedure.

Industrial temporary connections are allocated by the Punjab Industrial Energy Department and do not fall directly under MEPCO’s authority.

1. First of all download application form here
2. Fill out the application form, sign it, and submit it with a cover letter along with the following documents.
3. Required documents for application
   Copy of CNIC of owner & witness.
   Copy of Allotment and Possession Letter.
4. After submitting the application to the concerned office, the Electrical Department-PIEDMC will process it and issue a demand notice. The customer must then make the payment.
   
   
5. The electricity connection will be provided after the payment of the demand notice.
